As the situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, our entire team is ready to provide safe dental care for our patients. You rely on us for your dental needs, and we’re going to continue to provide access to the important dental services you count on. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and the American Dental Association (ADA) and CDC guidelines very closely. While those of us in the dental community are no stranger to the risks of blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease, and combat them on a routine basis, we are exercising the need for an abundance of caution at this time.
Promoting health and safety. For everyone.
Nothing is more important than your health and safety, and the need to protect those most vulnerable to the coronavirus. Our team ensures that our standard operating procedures meet or exceed sanitation and sterilization standards of care. In addition, we have elevated our infection control procedures in response to this concern. We have removed all magazines and reading materials from our reception area. Additionally, our coffee and refreshments have been removed. Please do not take alarm if we are cleaning our reception area several times a day. This is for our patients’ comfort and safety.
While we are taking all measures to prevent any risks for our patients, we do recommend our elderly and immunocompromised patients reschedule any non-emergent dental appointments for at least the next two weeks. We request that any patient showing signs of respiratory illness please postpone any non-emergent and elective dental procedures until symptoms have completely subsided. Also, please refrain from bringing someone with you to your appointments, unless necessary for transportation.
We will remain open as long as possible so that you can visit our practice with confidence and security knowing we are taking additional measures to provide for the safety of our patients, teammates and our communities. As always, universal precautions are and will be taken to ensure we are treating our patients in a clean, safe and healthy environment.
